The kids' water slide and pool area at Barcelo Maya Colonial are absolutely the best! My daughter loved every moment spent there, and the convenience of having it right near our room was fantastic. The children’s programs kept her entertained, and there was even a great team at the kids' club. It's clear they're focused on making sure kids have a blast! We appreciated the easy access to both the kiddie pool and the adult pools, making it perfect for our family dynamics.

Delicious Italian Cuisine!

We dined at Capri, the Italian restaurant, and it was one of the highlights of our stay! The pasta was fresh, and the service was great. Special thanks to our waiter who made excellent recommendations. The ambiance was lovely, making for a good evening out. I also loved how diverse the dining options were across the resort, too!

Relaxing Escape!

The spa facilities at Barcelo Maya Colonial were very nice! I treated myself to a massage and it was pure bliss. The staff were attentive and really made sure to tailor the experience to my needs. Afterward, I enjoyed some time by the pool, and the atmosphere was serene and relaxing. This was the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of activities with the family.

Comfortable Room Stay!

Our room at the Barcelo Maya Colonial was quite spacious and comfortable. It was great to have a patio that opened to a view of the jungle, allowing us to enjoy nature right from our room. The layout was practical for a family, and we appreciated the mini bar setup which kept us refreshed during our stay. My stay at this resort was disappointing overall. While the location had great views, the service was hit or miss, often leading to frustrating experiences. I had a fantastic time at the resort! The beaches were breathtaking, and the pools were perfect for relaxation. The staff was friendly, especially our server who remembered our drink preferences. While the cleanliness of our room could have been better, the overall experience made up for it. I just wish the room cleanliness was up to par with the rest of the great amenities they offer.
